Day trip to York yesterday. Ben had interview to study music. Great campus, v. good music dept, but they are 10 times over-subscribed!
Oxford Sixth Choir were fantastic last night! Love songs & poetry in Holywell Music Rm. Classical & Modern. Ending with “Fly Me To The Moon”
More music tonight. Son Ben is singing with the Oxford Sixth Choir (sixth-formers from schools in Oxford) in the Holywell Music Room
My daughter’s school, OHS, peformed Ocean World last night. Very moving. Her friend Ylang sang her solos beautifully, as did many others
Some truly outstanding performances by youngsters at the Oxford Music Festival last weekend. Shows what dedication and focus can achieve.
